The Para Site internship programme offers individuals interested in the contemporary art industry an opportunity to participate in the practical day-to-day operations of a non-profit arts organisation located in Hong Kong.
The internship provides a look into the structure and work of an independently run institution. Interns assist the staff of Para Site, gaining first-hand experience in the mounting of exhibitions, event management for a variety of stakeholders, research for exhibition and development purposes, as well as educational projects.
Para Site internships are paid, part-time positions. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in contemporary art, culture, and/or history. They should be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programmes, or should be recent graduates.
Candidates are required to commit to a minimum of six months from January to June 2025, for an average of three days per week including one day over the weekend, or the equivalent of 24 hours per week. Evening availability once or twice a month for events and programmes may be requested.
