In this presentation, Para Site’s curator-in-residence, , will travel around some artistic developments that took place between the 1980s and the 2000s in Argentina. He will insist on some important references even for today’s curatorial practice in the country, from Jorge Glusberg to Jorge Gumier Maier and his referential essay “El Tao del arte”. Villanueva will then reflect on some issues related to curatorial practice and how it is related to art history, activism and artistic production.
