If you missed our previous Baseline Test with Vvzela Kook, we’re excited to let you know we’re having two additional sessions on 13 March and 25 April! Register above.

In the film Blade Runner, the baseline test is part of police protocol and designed to test the effects of a blade runner’s job on their brain and psyche, looking for any emotional deviation and analysing the subject’s operational stability. As a blade runner’s job was to pressure and kill their own kind, it was deemed necessary to be constantly assessed as to whether their work was having a moral impact on them. To be “off baseline” would be considered a failure of this test.

This audio work simulates a baseline test for human beings, studying real people with real emotions and their moral reactions.

Each participant is subjected alone to a 8-minute test in English.
