We’ve Expanded

Para Site is very happy to announce that we are expanding our premises at our home in Quarry Bay.

In addition to our 22nd-floor space at 677 King’s Road, we will now have a street presence on the ground floor of the same building. This will allow us to stage exhibitions, public programmes, and events on street-level, engage the community more directly with arts and arts education, and increase the number of individual projects we are able to present simultaneously.

Since its founding in 1996, Para Site has continued to morph its physical presence on the Hong Kong contemporary art scene. From its lengthy presence in two successive smaller shops on Po Yan Street in Sheung Wan, we have now grown into a centre for art, education, and cultural discourse in a much larger industrial home in Quarry Bay, which often acts as a base for larger projects in various temporary spaces.

We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire community for supporting our growth throughout the years and we look forward to exciting things to come in the future with our latest expansion. Para Site‘s new ground-floor space is generously supported by Shane Akeroyd. Construction supported by JR Engineering Consulting Ltd. Designed by Michael He (The Office as a Project).
