Para Site is pleased to present two exhibitions by Chris Evans and Pak Sheung Chuen at Hong-gah Museum in Taipei, both presentations including newly commissioned works. With diverging approaches, both artists offer a meditation on power and the complex relationships between citizens and society. They are each imagining structures that foster participation and anticipate ways for abstract aesthetics to transform our contemporary anxieties and frustrations, be it political or simply deriving from tedious daily urban life. Two Exhibitions premiered at Para Site in 2017, curated by Freya Chou. They are expanded for the iteration at Hong-gah Museum and are co-produced by Para Site.
