Mindy LUI Yan Yi (b.1997) obtained her BA in Fine Arts from the Academy of Visual Arts of the Hong Kong Baptist University in 2020. She is a Hong Kong-based artist primarily working with graphite and oil paint. Objects are the main subjects in her work. Through her own daily observation, her works explore the order, functionality and existence of different objects, and reflect the artist’s understanding and respect for them.
