Taking time to reflect and reposition is a powerful form of agency. Since its founding in 1996, Para Site has advocated for contemporary culture’s capacity to reshape our understanding of society – and ourselves. Looking ahead, we are evermore open to flux, to experimentality, and to nurturing the conditions for surprising alliances and unlikely solidarities. ‘Para Site is Live’ is a community-driven collective score for where we go next.
The broadcast brings together members of our community—spanning three decades and all around the globe—to contribute casually, softly, and intuitively. Broadcast live from our current space in Quarry Bay and a nomadic radio studio designed by HONMI, the radio show follows four prompts:
