June 4th Private Memories

May 23, 2000 – Jun 5, 2000
Para/Site Art Space
2 Po Yan Street, Sheung Wan

Open to all to participate

June 4th is not merely a time for national/political/public memories but is also infused with personal/private memories. For some, it might be the celebration of a birthday, while for others it might mean joining a march as the occasion for a social gathering. This exhibition was aimed at the compilation of ‘collective private memories’ of social aspects of an event.

The exhibition is curated by Damian Cheng.
