Painting Installation

“What we see is what we experience. What we experience is not what we want”. Using painting, Esther Liu sought to illustrate and visualise this statement in an interaction with space. Images, figurative and non-figurative, were painted directly onto the wall, with a site-specific painting making its appearance, and then disappearing again.
