Ringo Lo Wing Tao (b. 1998, Hong Kong) is enthusiastic about juggling the many subcultures one experiences. Specialising in mixed-media pieces and installations, Lo purposefully uses unconventional ‘wrong’ means throughout his creative process, teasing the ideas of labour and art-making. Through his works, Lo uses storytelling and makes desperate attempts with his logic to analyse and reason with one’s emotional and spiritual experiences, including how they expand to become communal. His works have been shown in exhibitions including A Clockwork Lai Chi (2021), 活體洞 (2021), and We Are Our Own Demons (2021). He has also recently co-founded Ipseng, a local artist collective. He is also publishing content in the new local zine MYEW!.
