Bobby Yu Shuk Pui works in Hong Kong and Oslo. Bobby views the contemporary body through several prisms, especially different cultural contexts and the construction of identity. She received MFA Fine Arts in Oslo National Academy in Fine Arts in 2021. Her recent film Genetic Salon—Waiting Room was shown in Hong Kong, Prague, and Oslo, and was selected in the ‘AMIFF arctic moving image festival’. Her five-year research project ‘Genetic Salon’ is funded by the Norwegian Art Council (Kultrrådet), Oslo Kommune, Norske Billedkunstneres (NBK), and FKDS Studio.
