Dave Ho Lok-chung was born and based in Hong Kong. He is a full-time artist who specialises in sculpture. He received his bachelor’s degree majoring in painting at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in 2013, and an MFA from Wimbledon College of Arts at the University of the Arts London in 2016. The primary mediums for his work are scrap wood and recycled material. His work has been exhibited in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and the UK. The piece The Moment Between Good And Evil was permanently collected by Canazzaro Park in London. Ho’s artistic style spans different genres and forms from fine art to folk art. He brings arts to the community as a founder of the artist-run carpenter group Chipgoodguy Studio and the first Hong Kong 3D puzzle speciality store OLO Puzzles HK. He is passionate in arts education, currently working as a tutor at Hong Kong Art School as well as several other institutions and art spaces, promoting the craft of woodworking and the creative industries as a whole.
