Li San Kit, Andy, was born in 1994 in Hong Kong. From camera-based media, he develops his diverse forms of art practice. Photography, moving images, and installations make up the interdisciplinary body of his work. Li’s works gaze at the essence of images critically. He contemplates the potential of images as an extension of interpersonal relationship. Often his works are being considered as emotionally direct and affective whereas his visual poetries often take forms through musings and subsequently, mumbles. Li received his BA in Creative Media from the School of Creative Media, Hong Kong City University; as well as a BA in Digital media from Lephana University Lüneburg, Germany, in 2018. Li is a member of Floating Projects Collective and co-founder of Negative Space. He is currently living and working in Hong Kong.
