Wing Sze Ng (b. 1998) regards metropolitan experience by using poetic imageries and pop culture references to perform the tension concerning private sentiments, solidarity, and disconnection to surroundings. Graduated from Fine Arts, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she co-curated exhibitions Canned Libido and The Storm of Hymns. Her artworks have been featured in Video Cypher (2019), Wild Art Festival (2019), and Fresh Trend (2020). She also went on an artist residency at Dinghaiqiao Mutual-Aid Society, Shanghai. Recently, she co-founded an artist collective GO-A-WAY in Kwai Chung.
Natasha Cheung received her B.A. in Fine Arts and Visual Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and is currently completing her MA in History of Art at SOAS University of London. She sees drawing as both a medium and philosophy of futile attempts to describe and encapsulate, at which she aims to fail beautifully. Conversation, too, is a potential tool for drawing that she would like to implement to meet Wing Sze with.
