Venice in Hong Kong: Saw and Heard at the 50th Venice Biennale

Date
Aug 13, 2003
Time
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Venue

Para/Site Art Space, 2 Po Yan Street, Sheung Wan

We have introduced the front and back scenes of the Hong Kong artists at Venice Biennale on the first night of the sharing. This time, we are going to comment on the gains and losses of this Venice Biennale. The away team, Para Site Collective, has returned to their home match. No matter how established the artists are, will be using our standards to measure the quality of the artworks we saw. The eleven members forming a ‘study group’ of presentation, to present and share their favorite works, the ‘taste’ of cultural tourism, and a large number of publications collected during the trip. Do you want to know what was happening in each exhibition? What did the team members do? What did they film? We are going to organize a materials and information feast. Without flying to the city of Venice, you can grasp the on-goings in Venice Biennale.
