As an extension of ‘Reframing Strangeness: Ha Bik Chuen’s Motherboards and Collagraphs’, join Hong Kong-based artist Kensa Hung for a hands-on workshop exploring Ha Bik Chuen’s self-invented ‘motherboard’ and collagraph making practice, and make your own using everyday materials. The programme consists of two parts: guest curator Michelle Wun Ting Wong will first introduce Ha Bik Chuen’s printing practice which offers insights into the motifs and techniques the artist used in making his motherboards and the offspring collagraphs. Next, Kensa Hung will introduce his re-interpretation of Ha’s motherboards through his own material experimentation, including a demonstration and artist-led hands-on session where participants will create their own motherboard and collagraph.

Pre-registration and a refundable deposit of HKD 100 is required.

About

Kensa Hung is an artist who works creatively across painting, illustration, graphic design, arts education and stage production, using ink, seal engraving and sculpture as mediums.
