With a bachelor’s degree from the fine arts department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Kong Chun Hei (b.1987, Hong Kong; lives and works in Hong Kong) has cultivated an artistic practice galvanised by his keen, unperturbed sense of observation. His work examines everyday objects and their inherent forms, while exposing varying nuances in the relationship between the object and the context where it is found. This has underpinned his practice that stretches intuitively across drawing, installation, and video to accentuate the tension that hovers between reinforcement and offset.
